Much Hadham circular via Perry Green

This is a 7-8 mile walk starting from the historic village of Much Hadham. The walk follows ancient footpaths through woodland and fields to the Henry Moore Foundation in Perry Green, where we will stop for a picnic lunch - and can see some of Henry Moore's sculptures.  Alternatively or in addition, we can use the cafe facilities  for food, drinks, toilets. We return to Much Hadham along the Hertfordshire Way through the valley of the River Ash.

This is a fairly level walk with only one gradual ascent and one short descent.  There are no stiles.

This is a very pleasant walk on mainly good paths with no road walking. Some or all of the group may wish to have a drink at the end of the walk in the Bull Inn.
