A 6.5 mile linear morning walk from Watton-at-Stone Station to Hertford North Station along the picturesque River Beane. A pleasant, easy walk along good, level paths on the whole, through fields and woodland.

If there has been recent rain there may be some muddy/very wet paths. There is one short stretch of lane and two short stretches of pavement along a busy road. There is no real ascent on this walk.
